BERKELEY, NJ — Authorities found a dead elderly woman Saturday in the woods. At this time, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer sees no reason to believe foul play was involved.

Authorities received a 911 call about an unresponsive woman in the woods along an ATV trail — about 1.5 miles south of Township Line Road. Officers found the woman's body in the advanced stages of decomposition, according to the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office.

"We are working to positively identify this female and will release more information once we do," Billhimer said.
