Founders Day Celebrates All Things Berkeley This Weekend

Head to Veterans Park Saturday for a fun-filled day of music, treats, kids activities and of course, dazzling fireworks.

BERKELEY, NJ — Join Berkeley Township as we say goodbye to the summer season with one last fun-filled bash: Founders Day is Sept. 14.

The festivities kick off at 2 p.m. at Veterans Park in Bayville. The schedule includes the Central Marching Band performing from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., and a 9/11 memorial at 4:30 p.m.

There also will be crafts for kids, a concession stand, ice cream and a scavenger hunt.

It also features the final Sounds of Summer concert. Slap Happy takes the stage at 6 p.m., followed by Boy Band Project at 7:30 p.m.

The night is capped off by a fireworks display.
