Free Turkeys Given Out In Berkeley: When, Where
The township is giving away turkeys and sides for families in need. Here's where you can pick them up:
BERKELEY, NJ — Berkeley Township is giving away turkeys to residents in need ahead of the holiday this week.
Giveaways are set at both the Holiday City South Clubhouse and the Holiday City Carefree Clubhouse on Nov. 26. Both will run 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
The Holiday City South Clubhouse (139 Santiago Dr.) has 200 turkeys and sides to distribute, according to a Nixle alert. These will be given away on a first come, first serve basis.

A Nixle alert for the Holiday City Carefree Clubhouse distribution only says they are "limited" and also will be giving turkey and sides on a first come, first serve basis.
On Nov. 27, free, hot Thanksgiving dinners will be given away at the Manitou Park Firehouse (corner of Fort de France and Pembroke Lane) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Again, these are distributed first come, first serve.

"On behalf of Mayor Bacchione, the Township Council and Berkeley Township Administration, we wish you and your family a healthy and happy Thanksgiving," the township said.
