A Good Samaritan And A Family Heirloom Found
Deirdre Rybasack earned the Good Samaritan Award from Berkeley Mayor Carmen Amato and Township Council.
Craig Conway lost his airplane necklace at ShopRite. He called out to Facebook for helping finding his family heirloom. Deirdre Rybasack came forward.
At the time, Rybasack declined any reward from Conway for returning it. But Monday night, Berkeley Mayor Carmen Amato and Township Council presented her with the Good Samaritan Award.
Amato and the council also congratulated American Youth Football & Cheer 2018 8U Berkeley Golden Eagles on their division championship. The squad, led by coach Kyle Mackown, went 7-0 to lead its conference.
