Harlem Wizards To Play Fundraiser Game At Central Regional
The basketball team will challenge local teachers in a fun game that will raise money for schools.

BERKELEY, NJ — Enjoy a fun and exciting basketball game with the comedy basketball team the Harlem Wizards as they play against teachers and staff to raise money for local schools.
The Harlem Wizards will be playing at Central Regional High School at 7 p.m. on March 12. General admission tickets are $15 and they will cost $20 at the door. You can get tickets here.
"If you don't know who the Harlem Wizards are, they are an entertainment type of basketball team comparable to the Harlem Globetrotters," Councilman Angelo Guadagno explained at a recent Township Council meeting while announcing the game.

Participating teachers will be from Central Regional, Berkeley, Ocean Gate, Island Heights and Seaside Heights, Guadagno said.
"I know a lot of people are playing, and they're going to get destroyed," Guadagno joked.

The Harlem Wizards "put on a great show," he said.
One member of the team visited Berkeley Township elementary schools, and "he got everyone fired up," Guadagno said.
"It's definitely going to be a great show," he said.
