Heavy Rains Soak Long Branch As Residents Brace For Tidal Flooding
Up to two and a half inches have already fallen in some areas, another inch or two expected, National Weather Service says.

It’s not over yet.
The Nor’easter that continues to pound the Jersey Coast has already dumped two and a half inches in some areas of Ocean County and another one to two inches is expected by the end of the day, according to the National Weather Service.
“These rains will likely produce minor flooding of roadways into the afternoon,” the NWS said in a recent alert. “For locales right along the coast, higher than normal tides will also affect how the rainfall drains.”
