Here's Why Christian Is A Berkeley Star Student
We all know students who excel in academic, fine arts or volunteer service. Here's one local resident who is having an impact in Berkeley.

BERKELEY, NJ — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.
This submission comes from Erin Tumolo who nominated Christian of Berkeley.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?
Christian has shown so much improvement since school started working extra hard to learn his math facts and reading. He enjoys reading and leveling up in his math. He always has a smile on his face and is kind to all friends and staff.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?
He continues to be eager learning and challenging his mind. He is not giving up when things get hard but working harder to improve his knowledge and learn. He goes into school with a positive attitude each day. Christian has come a long way since September and we are so proud of him.
Congratulations on your achievements, and all of our best wishes to you in the future, Christian!
