Hey, Where's My Car?
Ford Escape stolen from home in Forked River Beach section of Lacey.

A Neptune Avenue man who parked his 2005 Ford Escape in front of his Forked River Beach home one afternoon woke up the following morning to discover it was no longer there, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.
Officer Darrell Nick responded to the home at 7:14 a.m. on Feb. 4 on a report of a stolen vehicle. The victim told police that he parked the vehicle at roughly 3:30 p.m. the previous day. He told police he may have dropped his keys outside the prior day, since he could not locate them, the chief said.
The vehicle was reported to be valued at $1,000. It was later located in Atlantic City of Feb. 6. The Lacey Detective Bureau is investigating the theft, Paprota said.
