Island Beach State Park One Of NJ's Best Beaches, Report Says
A report ranking all of New Jersey's beaches gave Island Beach State Park a top three spot.
ISLAND BEACH STATE PARK, NJ — Island Beach State Park is a great beach. The white sand and natural beauty of the area make it a great spot to relax. And others agree, as a report ranked it as one of the top three best beaches in all of New Jersey.
NJ.com recently ranked all 44 beaches in NJ from worst to best. Island Beach State Park came in at number three, falling behind only Cape May and Beach Haven.
So what makes IBSP "a truly elite beach," as the report said? Pretty much everything.

"Being a state park has its perks, the beach itself is incredibly well-maintained and the natural beauty of the park is unmatched," the report said. It also cites the food court, plus hiking and bird-watching.
The more than 3,000 acres of sand contain a multitude of wildlife in an undeveloped area. This beautiful beach is certainly not one to miss.
