Jill A. Nowitzke, also known to many as “Mama Neal”, 61, of Forked River, Lacey Twp., passed away Friday, December 5, 2014.
Born in New Brunswick, she lived in Lanoka Harbor before moving to Forked River 10 years ago. Jill was a member of the BPOE Elks Lodge 1875, Toms River.
She was predeceased by her parents John and Mary Nowitzke.
Jill is survived by her two sons, Eric Appel and his wife Kerry of Toms River and Corey Neal of Forked River, two brothers John Nowitzke, Jr. of Bayville, and Denny Nowitzke and his wife Christine of Manchester, and two grandchildren, Sophia and Sebastian.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.
