June Manning Of Point Pleasant Dies At 71

Services slated for Tuesday at O'Brien Funeral Home.

June Manning, 71, passed away on Jan. 30, 2015 at her home in Point Pleasant.

Born in Marion County, Oregon to the late Robert and Virginia Jackson, she has been a resident of Point Pleasant for the past 40 years.

June worked at the Ft. Monmouth Naval Base for over 30 years before her retirement. She married the love of her life, the late Charles Manning in 1990. They were parishioners of Holy Innocents Church in Neptune. June was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary and enjoyed time spent with her loving friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband in 2005.

Surviving are her son, David Patrick Bennett, grandchildren David and Amanda Bennett, her loving extended family, Laura and Thomas Wyckoff and their children; Jennifer, John and husband Adam, their children Aiden, Alexander, and Ashton, Christina Borrero and husband Vincent, and their daughter Mia, Shanna Porter, Michael Porter, Sierra Porter, Jeffrey Wyckoff, Adrianne Wyckoff, Alexis Wyckoff, and many dear friends who will cherish her memory.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015 at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will take place at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.
