Lanoka Harbor Woman Found With 1,000 Heroin Doses, Crack Cocaine In Holiday City

A narcotics distribution investigation by Berkeley Township detectives and the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office paid off recently with the arrest of a Lanoka Harbor woman in Holiday City, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said.
Authorities arrested Veronica Gasman, 46, on Jan. 13 after responding to a Grenada Street address the day before, the chief said.

Gasman arrived in the area at 10:45 a.m. in a white Ford Explorer. Detectives stopped the vehicle and seized more than 1,000 individual doses of heroin and 15 vials of crack cocaine, all packaged for distribution, DiMichele said..
Gasmen was arrested and transported to the Berkeley Township Police Department for processing. She was charged with possession of heroin and possession of heroin with the intent to dstribute. Municipal Court Judge James M. Blaney set her bail at $50,000 cash. She was taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River in default of bail, the chief said.
