Manchester: Lots Of Wind, Rain On Thanksgiving Eve

Chances are, Ocean County residents won’t need to pull out their snow shovels.

The coming coastal storm will bring heavy rain and gale force winds, but none of the white stuff, according to the latest National Weather Service predictions.

Rain will hit the area early Wednesday morning, around 4 a.m. Expect a low around 40 degrees, with west winds of six to 13 miles per hour before switching to the north.

Wednesday will bring between 1 to 2 inches of rain and a high of 43 degrees. Expect northwest winds between 15 to 25 miles per hour. Rain will continue into Wednesday night, mostly before 10 p.m., with a low around 32 degrees and northwest winds between 16 to 21 miles per hour.

Thanksgiving Day in Ocean County will be cloudy and chilly, with a high of 42 degrees and northwest winds from 6 to 11 miles per hour.
