Lester Lee Anderson, Retired Berkeley Police Sergeant, Dies At 77

Lester Lee Anderson, Sr., 77, of Bayville passed away on June 1, 2015.
He was born in Summit, NJ before finally settling to Bayville. He was a volunteer fireman in Union and was a retired sergeant for Berkeley Township Police Department. He was the owner and operator of L. Anderson & Sons Trucking. Lester loved to travel on his motorcycle, including places like Daytona bike week in Florida and Sturgis, South Dakota as well as building custom hot rods.
He is predeceased by his father Lester W. Anderson and his son Kevin. Surviving are his mother, Madeline V. Anderson; two sisters Patricia Sperber with her husband John and Sandy Andrews with her husband Robert; three sons, Lester L. Anderson , Jr., John A. Anderson, Kenneth W. Anderson; his two daughters, Cathy Jean Hall and Peggy Sue Russell; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
