Luau, Food Truck Fest In Berkeley On September 27
The event will feature island entertainment, food trucks and a wine and beer tent. Here's what you can expect.
BERKELEY, NJ — A taste of Hawaii is coming to Berkeley Township. A Friday Night Luau will take place from 4-10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27 at Veterans Park.
The event will feature food trucks and fire pits. The South Pacific Island Dancer and Luau Entertainment of Paulsboro, New Jersey, will set the scene. The night will include island music and a nonstop Polynesian show. There will be audience-participation segments and a Samoan fire knife dancer.
There will also be plenty of food trucks. "What's on your Food Truck?" — a promotion and event-planning group — revealed some of them on the Facebook event page.

- Cousins Maine Lobster
- Dags Dippers
- Gyros To Go
- Relish The Dog NJ
- Shore Good Eats n' Treats

- Ohana Food Trucks
- Beer Tent hosted by the Bayville Elks
- John Hay Cigars
- Pirate Pete's Soda Pop Co
Food trucks will serve from 5-10 p.m.

Admission and parking are free. The first 300 guests will receive a flower lei and an "Aloha." Bring blankets and/or beach chairs.
