Main Break In Berkeley Leaves Some Without Water
Several streets have no water Tuesday afternoon after a water main break on Bayview Avenue, according to Berkeley officials.
BERKELEY, NJ — A water main break on Bayview Avenue is causing homes to be without water Tuesday afternoon.
The following streets will have no water until repairs are completed, per the Berkeley Township Police Department:
- Bayview Avenue (north of Veeder)
- Bowsprit Drive
- Peaksail Drive
- Jibsail Drive
No estimated time of repair was given.

Upon completion of the repair, if discolored water/low pressure is experienced, officials ask that you run a cold faucet until it runs clear.
Multiple water main breaks have been reported in the area recently. Police reported another main break on Bayview Avenue on Christmas Eve. One on Monday on Route 9 caused delays in the area.
