Dead Body Found At Island Beach State Park, Officials Say
Attempts to revive the man were unsuccessful, authorities said.
ISLAND BEACH STATE PARK, NJ — A man was found dead at Island Beach State Park Monday night, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection said.
The 49-year-old man was found unconscious by New Jersey State Park Police at 9:12 p.m. Monday, DEP spokeswoman Caryn Shinske told Patch.
Attempts to resuscitate the man were unsuccessful, she said.

The Ocean County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause of death.
