Meth Dealer Charged In Berkeley: Police

Police seized over an ounce of methamphetamines, paraphernalia and a large sum of cash, Berkeley police said.

BERKELEY, NJ — A Berkeley resident was charged after a search warrant revealed he was packaging and dealing methamphetamines, police said.

Vincent Mauro, 55, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia, Berkeley police said in a release.

Authorities executed a court-authorized search warrant on the Laurel Street residence in Bayville shortly before 5 p.m. on Oct. 6, police said.

Police seized more than one ounce of methamphetamines, paraphernalia used to package and distribute drugs and a "large sum" of cash, police said.

Berkeley Township Code Enforcement also responded to investigate violations.

Mauro was released on a summons in accordance with bail reform.
