Michael Patrick Moran, Longtime Ocean Gate Resident Dies
Memorial gatherings to be held on Friday in Toms River.

Michael Patrick Moran, of Ocean Gate, passed away in his sleep on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015.
Mike grew up and lived most of his life in Ocean Gate. Mike was an avid hunter, fisherman and skier. He loved spending time with his family especially all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mike graduated from Central Regional High School in 1965, worked as a truck salesman for Downs Ford in Toms River for more than 25 years and recently purchased and ran his own home inspection business.

He leaves behind his sister, Patricia; sister-in-law, Joyce; his nieces, Sharin and Jamie and his nephew, Patrick. He also leaves behind his daughter, Vicki and her husband Brian Nash; his sons, Jay McIndoe, Rob and his wife Lori Hanneman, Larry and his wife Sharon Hanneman; his grandchildren, Tracey, Andrew, Kevin, Shawn, Michael, Alex, Josh, Lara, Ben, Samantha, Sophie, Dylan, and Luke, and his great-grandchildren, J.D., Katelyn, Max, James, A.J. and Nolan. Mike was predeceased by his wife of 27 years, Barbarann and his brothers, John and Thomas Moran.
A memorial gathering for Michael will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. & 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25 at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation to either the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or Saint Jude Children’s Hospital in Michael’s name, would be greatly appreciated.
