Expect rough surf with waves around three feet, with northerly swells of two feet. The ocean water temperature is 77 degrees.
There's a moderate risk of rip currents today, which means wind or wave conditions can support stronger or more frequent rip currents. Always bring a flotation device with you in the water and discuss any possible surf zone hazards with the lifeguards.

Chances are you'll see a lot of red and yellow flags up and down the coast over the next few days.Dangerous rip currents are expected Saturday through Labor Day, even if Hermine varies in her track.
