Motel Could Become Apartments In Bayville
The proposal to convert the motel into apartments will go before the zoning board in August.
BERKELEY, NJ — A proposal to convert a Route 9 motel into apartments is set to be head by the Berkeley Township Zoning Board of Adjustment in August.
The property in question is located at 1023 Route 9 in Bayville, which is where the Holiday Harbor Motel sits. The motel is listed as temporarily closed on Google.
The conversion requires a use variance, as apartment buildings are not allowed in the Highway Business Zone.

Those who have questions or wish to comment on the application will be able to do so at the Aug. 12 zoning board meeting.
