Motor Vehicle Entries Under Investigation In Berkeley: Police
Money and credit cards were taken from some of the vehicles entered on a night where many other thefts happened in surrounding towns too.

BERKELEY, NJ — Police are investigating a chain of motor vehicle entries where money and credit cards were taken.
In their monthly police blotter for September, Berkeley police said that they responded to multiple calls on Sept. 20 near the area of San Carlos, Wojtyla Court, Canterbury Lane, and several other areas in Holiday Heights. Cars had been entered and money and credit cards were taken from some of them, police said.
Det. Jonathan Mulvihill arrived on scene and police obtained video surveillance.

Upon further investigation, police discovered that "many" other break-ins happened that same night in neighboring towns, though police did not share which ones.
The incident is currently under active investigation by Berkeley police and the other towns.
