New Date Set For Berkeley's Christmas Tree Lighting

The initial event was postponed due to rainy weather, but a new date has been set:

BERKELEY, NJ — There's still time for Christmas cheer in Berkeley Township, as the annual Christmas tree lighting has been rescheduled.

Originally planned for Dec. 1 but postponed due to rain, the new ceremony is now set for Dec. 15 at 5 p.m.

The festive event will still be held at Veterans Park. And you can still expect musical entertainment from the Central Regional Marching Band, cheer and dance team.

Make sure you bring your camera, because you'll be able to visit with Santa.
