New Italian Market Set To Open In Bayville

BAYVILLE, NJ — A new Italian American specialty market is setting up shop in Bayville.

Located in Heritage Square, home of Bud, the Bayville dinosaur, Cucina Fresca said on social media that it will open sometime the week of Nov. 7.

The new market will carry a variety of Italian delicacies, from grocery staples like canned tomatoes and pasta, along with freshly baked bread like focaccia and ciabatta, fresh mozzarella and of course, homemade sausage.

The store will also carry a selection of Boar's Head meats and cheeses.

A menu of freshly made food is also offered, from breakfast sandwiches to lunch. Specialty and classic subs are available, plus "gavones," the market's twist on grease truck fat sandwiches. These sandwiches are stuffed with things like French fries and mozzarella sticks.

Finish off your meal with Italian desserts like sfogliatelle, cannoli and crumb cake.

They also offer a variety of dishes for catering all occasions.
