Ocean City Plans Town Hall At Library On City Projects And Services
Mayor Jay Gillian will host an April 11 town hall at the library on city projects, services and project timelines.
OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City residents will have a chance to hear updates on local projects and services at a mayor’s town hall meeting set for 10 a.m. Saturday, April 11, at the Ocean City Free Public Library, 1735 Simpson Ave.
According to the city, Mayor Jay Gillian will provide information on a range of efforts now underway or in development as the summer season approaches.
The city said the updates will include work involving the beaches, boardwalk and bay. Ocean City is also designing flood mitigation programs for new neighborhoods, according to the announcement. At the same time, the city said other projects are focused on enhancing the downtown, the open space at 16th Street and public safety facilities.
