Ocean County Fair In Berkeley Canceled Amid Coronavirus

The annual Ocean County Fair was scheduled for July 8-12.

BERKELEY, NJ — The annual Ocean County Fair was canceled because of the novel coronavirus. The gathering was set to take place July 8-12 at the Robert J. Miller Airpark.

The Ocean County Fair made the announcement Wednesday on its Facebook page.

The Rutgers Cooperative Extension — a youth-development program and major partner of the fair — suspended all in-person events through at least Aug. 31 because of the virus. As a result, fair organizers said they can't see a way forward without them this year.
