Ocean County Fair To Return For 2023
The fair, an annual staple of Ocean County since 1947, returns to Robert J. Miller Air Park on July 12 through 16.
BERKELEY, NJ — It's almost time for the return of an Ocean County tradition. The Ocean County Fair at Robert J. Miller Air Park runs this year from July 12 through 16.
The fair has been a staple since 1947 when it was just a one-day "Ocean County Field Day." It expanded to a three-day fair in 1967 and grew to four days in 1982.
Nearly 50,000 people walk through the fair to visit 4-H animals, eat delicious treats and enjoy the variety of entertainment offered, according to the Ocean County Fair website.

"Guests can expect to have an abundance of fun at the Ocean County Fair, from live music, rollercoasters, 4-H events, pony riding, pig races, food and commercial vendors, Cowboy Larry, and so much more," the website reads.
While you can enjoy typical fair activities of rides, vendors, live entertainment and of course, funnel cake, the main highlight of the event is the 4-H and all of the work they put into taking care of their animals.
