Now that October is here, there's tons of fun to be had around Berkeley. Here's some events to look forward to.
BERKELEY, NJ — The air is crisp, the leaves are falling and there's plenty to do in Berkeley. Now that it's October, Berkeley has several events lined up to enjoy.
Kick off the spooky season with "Barktoberfest" on Island Beach State Park on Oct. 8, celebrating our furry friends.
"Psychic Night" comes to the Berkeley Library, with appointments between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Taste wine from local wineries with the "Sip in Autumn" fall wine festival at Veterans Park, on Oct. 15 and 16.
Also on Oct. 15, the Berkeley Township Historical Society celebrates with their "Autumn Victorian Tea Party" at the Bayville Fire House at 1 p.m.

"Terror in the Halls" returns to H&M Potter School from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
On Oct. 26, cozy up under the stars and enjoy "The Nightmare Before Christmas" at Veterans Park.
And on Oct. 29, kids up to 8th grade can enjoy the "Trick or Trunk" at Veterans Park from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
