Over 300 Power Outages In Berkeley Wednesday Morning
JCP&L expects power to return by 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Update, 11:21 a.m.: A JCP&L spokesperson said 353 Berkeley customers had outages from 8:50-9:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. Crews worked to replace a broken crossarm and had to temporarily de-energize the circuit to safely repair it.
The work has been completed, and JCP&L doesn't expect it to cause additional outages.
A separate planned outage to support a fuse replacement has left 76 customers without power in Berkeley. JCP&L expects restoration at around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Update, 10:51 a.m.: JCP&L reports there are now 76 outages in Berkeley. They expect these to be restored by 1 p.m.
Update, 9:45 a.m.: JCP&L previously expected to restore power by 11:30 a.m. Now they anticipate restoration by 10 a.m.

BERKELEY, NJ — Over 300 lost power Wednesday morning in Berkeley, according to Jersey Central Power & Light. JCP&L expects power to restore by 10 a.m. Wednesday.
It was not immediately clear what caused the outage. But most of the issues in Ocean County on Wednesday morning seemed to be isolated in Berkeley, where 351 of the county's 364 outages have been reported as of 9:30 a.m.
