Partly Sunny Skies Today At Ocean County Beaches

Low rip current risk, ocean water temperatures are slowly rising

OCEAN COUNTY, NJ - The National Weather Service is calling for partly sunny skies and warmer temperatures today at Ocean County beaches.

Highs today will be in the lower 80s. Winds will be from the south, gradually increasing to 10 to 15 miles per hour. There is no lightning threat.

There's a low risk of rip currents today. But rips can always occur, especially near jetties and other structures. Do your homework and check to see if the beach you want to go to is guarded on weekdays. Yes, today will be hot, but never swim on an unguarded beach and never swim alone or at night.
