Plane Skids Off Runway In Berkeley
The FAA was notified and the agency advised that a follow-up investigation would occur.

A plane skidded off the runway of an airport in Berkeley Township this past week, police said.
On Aug. 4 at 8:27 p.m. Sgt. William Cullen, Patrolman Chris Elliott, and Patrolman Taylor Butler responded to Miller Air Park for an incident involving a plane which was in distress.
William Murphy, the pilot of the plane, was attempting to land when the landing gear failed. This caused his plane to veer off the runway.

No injuries were reported; and the plane had only minor damage. The Federal Aviation Administration was notified and the agency advised that a follow-up investigation would occur the following morning. No information has been immediately available on the follow-up.
