Police Seek ID Of Mule Road Bank Robber
The man robbed the TD Bank on Mule Road, police say.
Toms River police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a Mule Road bank on Monday afternoon.
The man -- described as a white male wearing a black pea coat and sunglasses -- walked into the TD Bank at 10 Mule Road a little after 4:30 p.m. and filled out a bank slip at the reception counter, said Ralph Stocco, spokesman for the Toms River Police Department. Photos are from the bank’s surveillance video.
The man then handed the bank slip to a teller; the note demanded money, Stocco said. The man received an undetermined amount of cash and fled the bank, running west on foot, Stocco said.
