Robert J. Byrne Of Bayville Dies At 60

Robert Jaye Byrne, 60, of Bayville, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Community Medical Center surrounded by his loving wife, family and friends.

He was born in Manhattan, NY and resided in Bayville for 29 years. Robert was employed by Ocean County Security for 17 years. He was also a foster parent to special needs infants and toddlers for 17 years.

Robert is predeceased by his parents Charles Byrne and Constance Gray. Surviving are his wife Mary Byrne, son Jason Byrne, stepson Robert Goyco and his wife Janet, stepgrandsons Christopher and Colin and stepdaughter Lisa Marie Dorans. Also surviving are his two best friends, the dogs, Bentley and Coco.

A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd. Bayville, NJ 08721. A prayer service will be offered at 3:30pm.
