Ronald L. West, Former South Toms River Councilman, Dies At 67
Services slated for Wednesday in Toms River.

Ronald L. West, 67, of South Toms River passed away on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.
Big Ron served two terms on the South Toms River Council and created a baseball league for South Toms River. Big Ron was beloved friend and a father figure for many.
Big Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years Marie and his three sons: Ron of South Toms River, Nick and his wife Kari of Bayville, and Anthony and his wife Alicia of South Toms River. He is also survived by his three grandchildren: Anthony Jr., Aiden, and Noah.
A visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 3, followed by a religious service at 8:30 p.m. at “The Family Owned” Carmona-Bolen Home for Funerals 412 Main Street, Toms River. Cremation will be private.
