School Supply Drive Returns To Berkeley

BERKELEY, NJ — Berkeley Township residents have until Aug. 28 to donate to the township’s annual school supply drive, which Mayor John Bacchione and Berkeley Recreation are running to help local students prepare for the upcoming school year.

According to the announcement, the drive is aimed at supporting Berkeley Township students with the supplies they need before classes begin. The township is asking residents to donate school supplies at one of three drop-off spots in Bayville.

Donations can be left at Berkeley Recreation, 630 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721, or at the mayor’s office in Town Hall, 627 Pinewald-Keswick Road, Bayville, NJ 08721. Residents also can bring supplies to the Berkeley Recreation booth during the Sounds of Summer concerts.

“Every donation, big or small, helps ensure Berkeley Township students have the supplies they need for a successful school year,” township officials said.
