Seaside Heights Cancels Fireworks Again
The show had been rescheduled from Saturday night.

Seaside Heights officials must be feeling snakebit.
After being forced to postpone its Fourth of July fireworks display Saturday night after a wave swamped the fireworks, the rescheduled fireworks had to be canceled again Sunday night.
A post on the town’s Facebook page said, “The Seaside Heights Business Improvement District regrets to announce that this evening’s fireworks extravaganza (rescheduled from July 4th) has been cancelled due to existing and forecast winds exceeding regulatory limitations.”

Winds Sunday night are forecast to be about 10 mph from the south, which would blow the fireworks onshore toward the boardwalk.
