BERKELEY, NJ — The Berkeley Township and Central Regional school districts remain average in the latest Niche.com rankings released this week.

These rankings and grades, published annually for the past nine years, compare schools and districts across the United States by combining honest feedback from parents and students with hard data on schools, teachers, and student performance.

The latest Niche rankings give Berkeley Township schools a "C+" overall and Central Regional a "B-."

Berkeley schools get a "B" in teachers, food and administration, but fall flat when it comes to academics and facilities, which got a "C."

Meanwhile, Central Regional gets a "B+" in sports, clubs and diversity, a "B" for food and "B-" for teachers and administration. But a "C+" for academics and "C" for facilities brings the grade down.

Berkeley Township

  • H&M Potter School: C+
  • Bayville Elementary School: C+
  • Clara B. Worth Elementary School: C+
  • Berkeley Township Elementary School: C

Central Regional

  • Central Regional Middle School: C+
  • Central Regional High School: B-
