UPDATE: Motorcyclist Dies On Garden State Parkway In Toms River
Police have not yet released the identify of the victim; 17-year-old in minivan charged with drunk driving.

TOMS RIVER, NJ -- A motorcyclist died when his Harley Davidson slammed into a van near Exit 82 on the Garden State Parkway Saturday night, according to nj.com.
The motorcyclist collided with the rear of a van driven by a teenager who was driving drunk, State Police said.
The collision occurred at 8:37 p.m. Saturday on the southbound lanes of the Parkway near exit 82, said State Police Sgt. Jeff Flynn.

Flynn said it appeared the Plymouth Voyager was either traveling slowly or had stopped in the roadway. The accident backed up traffic in the southbound lane, he said.
He said the van driver, 17, was charged with driving while intoxicated.

State Police did not release the name of the victim pending notification of kin.
The Ocean County Police, Fire and EMS page reported a medevac helicopter had been requested for the victim, but then canceled, and that the victim was being transported to a hospital with CPR in progress.
By 9:45 p.m. traffic was getting through the area slowly while the crash was investigated.
