Seven File For Three Seats On Central Regional School Board
Longtime former board member Denise Pavone-Wilson has jumped back into the fray.

A lively race for two of the three-year available seats on the Central Regional Board of Education is shaping up for this November.
Six people have filed to run for the Berkeley Township seats, including former longtime board member Denise-Pavone Wilson. Wilson decided not to run again several years ago.

Susan Cowdrick is running unopposed for the Island Heights seat.

- Nick Mackres - Mackres won a one-year term in Nov 2012 for 2013 when Thomas Raneri elected not to run for re-election. Mackres was appointed to the board in March 2015 when longtime member Keith Buscio resigned to run for the Township Council. Mackres lives on 9 Halsey Avenue in Bayville.
- George Dohn - 311 Coolidge Avenue, Bayville.
- Incumbent Robert J. Everett Jr.- 515 Arlington Avenue South, Bayville. Everett is serving as board president this year.
- Debra J. Matthew - 44 Dockage Road, Bayville.
- Denise Pavone-Wilson - 15 Butternut Lane, Bayville.
- Jason Mroczka - 135 Mill Creek Road, Bayville
- Incumbent Susan Cowdrick is running unopposed for the Island Heights seat.
