Southern Ocean County's 'Wedding Road Show' Coming Up

The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce will host a ”Wedding Road Show” on April 19 for brides, couples and their entourage to take a self-guided tour in the Long Beach Island area.

The event helps the Southern Ocean County Regional Chamber and Destination Marketing Organization expand potential business for its members and the business community. Brides who have registered for April’s event are coming from as far as Portland, Maine and Del Ray Beach, Florida, said Chamber spokesperson Lori Pepenella.

Visitors can register at the Chamber website at www.visitLBIregion.com/brides ( http://www.visitlbiregion.com/brides or check in at the Chamber offices at 265 West Ninth Street in Ship Bottom, the Tuckerton Seaport on Route 9 or the Holiday Inn on Route 72 in Manahawkin.

Tour maps will be available of the businesses that will showcase wedding professionals, including caterers, photographers, florists, entertainment, tuxedos and decor.

The locations include The Stateroom, Surf City Yacht Club, Brant Beach Yacht Club, The Gables, The SeaShell Resort & Beach Club and The Boat House. Attendees can also take special open house tours at the Surf City Hotel and LBI Historic Association in Beach Haven.
