Looking to propose this year and want it to be a complete surprise? Don’t know your woman’s ring size and want to know a way to get it without her knowing? Here’s a tips to try!
- Ask one of her friends (have her take her “ring” shopping for fun) or you can ask a close family member. Perhaps they have bought her a ring recently and can easily give you her size.
- Borrow one of her rings for the day. This can be tricky because you have to make sure it’s a ring she wears on her ring finger and also a ring she won’t notice is gone for the day.
- Trace one of her rings on a piece of paper or mark it in soap clay. If you are tracing her ring make sure you draw the inside and outside of the ring.
- Pretend you’re buying a ring for someone else (sister, mom, etc.) want her size for reference or have her come with you and try rings on for her preference
- While she’s sleeping wrap a string around her finger and mark the string or you can use a piece of paper and make sure the ends line up.
