WANTED: Small breed pup or young dog

Female, preferred.

Looking to adopt/purchase a small breed dog for retired parents. Under 20 lbs when full grown.

Will consider a puppy, although between 1 and 5 yrs old would be ideal.

Already looked (for weeks) at shelters and rescues within 100 miles ... mostly bigger breeds and/or older dogs there, and not suitable for my parents.

More than willing to pay reasonable fee.
