Water Main Breaks, Interrupting Service In Parts Of Berkeley
Aqua Water Company expects to complete repairs by 5 p.m. Thursday.
BERKELEY, NJ — A water main broke in Berkeley on Thursday morning, interrupting service in parts of town. Aqua Water Company expects to complete repairs by 5 p.m., the company said around 2 p.m.
The main break took place around Mill Creek, causing decreased pressure and periods without running water.
"We apologize for the inconvenience, and we are working as fast as possible to get the water/pressure restored," Aqua Water Company said.

Aqua Water Company said at about 2 p.m. that they have isolated the following streets:
- Point Pleasant Avenue
- Cape May Avenue
- Lakewood Avenue
- Bayville Avenue
- Holly Street
- Oak Street
- Mill Creek
- Sheila Court
- Allison Court
