BERKELEY, NJ — Done with your fresh-cut Christmas tree, but need somewhere to bring it?

The Ocean County Parks and Recreation Department offers several collection sites at the county's parks for people to drop off their trees so they can be recycled. (See the list below.)

Trees dropped off at the parks are turned into wood chips, and the wood chips are available to residents for their home landscaping, as well as being used by the county for its landscaping projects and trail work. Trees also are used at Natural Lands sites.
