William E. Clark Of Beachwood Dies At 74

Services for former volunteer fireman, usher at St. Barnabas will be held on Sunday and Monday.

William E. Clark, 74, of Beachwood, passed away on October 22, 2015 at home.

Born in Jersey City, he was raised and lived in Secaucus before moving to Beachwood in 1970. Mr. Clark retired from the Ocean County Road Department. He diligently served his community as a volunteer fireman, first with Beachwood Fire Department, then many years with Manitou Park Station #18. He was a devoted communicant of Saint Barnabas R. C. Church in Bayville and served as an usher. He was an avid supporter of the Church’s Food Pantry Program.

William was predeceased by his wife Dorothy in 2010. Surviving are four children, Lisa Craig and her husband Steve, Cheryl Ostrowski, Tammy Sibilia and her husband David, and Sherry Thomas and her husband John; his sister Marlene Ritner; and seven grandchildren, Michele, Zachary, Larissa, Alexander, Christopher, Nichole and Taylor.

Visiting hours will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd, Bayville, NJ 08721. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home before celebrating an 11 a.m. funeral Mass at Saint Barnabas Church in Bayville. Burial will follow to Saint Joseph Cemetery in Toms River. In lieu of flowers, donations in William’s memory to Saint Barnabas Food Pantry, 33 Woodland Rd., Bayville, NJ 08721 would be appreciated.
