Zita Cullinane Hornidge Of Pine Beach Dies At 91
Former Toms River Regional and Central Regional teacher

Zita C. Hornidge, 91, of Pine Beach died on Nov. 9, at home with her family.
Born in Portland, Maine, she taught school for 25 years in both the Toms River and Central Regional School systems before retiring in 1994. She was a graduate of Gorham College, now University of Southern Maine, and received her Masters of Science degree in Education from Georgian Court College.
She was a devout member of Saint Barnabas Roman Catholic Church and Altar Rosary Society as well as the Golden Age Club.
She is survived by her two daughters, Margaret Cimochowski and Catherine Hogans, seven grandchildren, Andrew, David, Tom, and Cara Cimochowski, Tom Hogans, Julie Bossow, and Jennifer Bismarck, and four great-grandchildren, Brady, Chase, Brody, and Lilly.
A funeral Mass will be held at the St. Barnabas Chapel, 33 Woodland Road in Bayville on Wednesday, Nov. 12, followed by a private burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Toms River.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Mastapeter Funeral Home in Bayville. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia or St. Barnabas Church.
