1 Dead, 1 Injured In Car Crash On Bedminster-Bridgewater Border
The car drove up an embankment and hit a tree before the driver was ejected on Wednesday morning, said police.
BEDMINSTER, NJ — One person is dead, and another is hospitalized with injuries following a crash on the Bedminster-Bridgewater border.
On Wednesday at around 3 a.m., Bedminster Township Police Officers went to a car crash on Meadow Road in the area of the Bridgewater Township border.
The preliminary investigation found the driver, Noah Maitland, 27, from Randolph, was driving a 1979 Corvette westbound on Meadow Road, said Bedminster Police Lt. Thomas Polito.

"The vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, left the roadway, drove up an embankment, hit a tree, and came to rest in the woods," said Polito.
Maitland was ejected from the Corvette, said Polito.

Maitland was taken to Morristown Memorial Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
The passenger, a 25-year-old man from Bridgewater, was taken to Morristown Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Bedminster Township Police Department, as well as the Somerset County Collision Analysis Reconstruction Team, is investigating.
