$2.3 Million Temporary Budget Set in Bedminster

It was approved at the annual reorganization meeting.

With a 2013 budget not yet prepared, the Bedminster Township Committee approved a temporary budget for a total of about $2.3 million.

The state requires a temporary budget to be approved within the first 30 days of the year, and it was approved at Wednesday’s reorganization meeting.

The budget is created based on 2012 appropriations, namely about 26.25 percent of the appropriations without considering the capital improvement fund, debt service and public assistance.
