3 Arrested On Warrants in Bedminster

Three people were arrested by Bedminster Police last week for having outstanding warrants.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — Three people were arrested by Bedminster Police last week for having outstanding warrants.

Bedminster Police blotter:

On Sept. 19 at 10:39 p.m.: Bedminster Police were advised of a subject in custody at Sussex County Jail who had a $1,500 traffic warrant out of Bedminster Twp. Jennifer Nicholson, age 28 of Hopatcong was unable to post and was lodged in Somerset County Jail.

On Sept. 20 at approximately 1:19 p.m.: While stopped at the light on River Rd. and Rte. 202/206, Bedminster Police witnessed a red Acura make an illegal U-Turn at the intersection to go onto northbound of Rte. 202/206 from southbound. Subsequent to the motor vehicle stop, Kristy Jocelin Brand, age 22 of Newark was arrested on a traffic warrant out of Irvington for $200 and a traffic warrant out Newark for $50. Brand was unable to post bail and was released on her own recognizance by both departments.

On Sept. 23 at 4:03 p.m.: Bedminster Police were advised of a subject in custody at Bergen County Jail who had a $750 criminal warrant out of Bedminster Twp. Gamal-Nasser King, age 34 of North Babylon, NY was unable to post and was lodged in Somerset County Jail.
