3 Drug Possession, 4 Warrant Arrests Made In Bedminster

BEDMINSTER, NJ — Bedminster Police report making three drug possession and four warrant arrests recently.
Bedminster Police blotter:
On Oct. 22 at approximately 12:43 a.m.: Bedminster Police observed a black Chevy sedan traveling on Route 206 southbound failing to keep right, and also had an obstructed front view due to tint. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Route 202/206 southbound at the Knox House. Subsequent to the investigation, the driver, Miguel Soto, 33 of Paterson was arrested for possession of controlled dangerous substance (CDS) marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Soto was also issued motor vehicle summonses for obstruction of windshield for vision, failure to keep right and operation of motor vehicle while in possession of CDS. The passenger, Keith Hock, 26 of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania was arrested for three no bail NCIC warrants; Ocean County Sheriff’s Office, Tunkhannock Township Police Department in Pennsylvania and Luzerne County Sheriff’s Office in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvaia. Hock also had a warrant out of Freehold Township for $881. Hock was turned over to Ocean County Sheriff’s Office.

On Oct. 25 at 8:09 p.m.: While Bedminster Police were patrolling in the area of Burnt Mills Road, the officer made a right onto Rattlesnake Bridge Road and observed an unoccupied black Mazda MZ6 on the southbound side of the road in the ditch. Subsequent to the investigation, Daniel Grant, 30, of Bernardsville was arrested for a no bail warrant out of Somerset County for a violation of the terms of drug court and issued motor vehicle summonses for careless driving and abandoned motor vehicle. Grant was lodged in Somerset County Jail.
On Oct. 26 at approximately 8:53 p.m.: Bedminster Police observed a Saab sedan traveling on Route 202/206 southbound fail to signal when making a lane change and then drive over the white painted median. A motor vehicle stop was conducted in the Exxon gas station (505 Route 202/206 southbound). Subsequent to the investigation, Greyson Ritter, 26, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania was arrested for possession of CDS marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ritter was also issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to give proper signal – turning or stopping, traffic on marked lanes, failure to possess vehicle registration and operation of motor vehicle while in possession of CDS.

On Oct. 28 at approximately 8:16 a.m.: While on patrol of Route 202/206 southbound at River Road, Bedminster Police observed a gray Toyota Rav4 with an improper display of its registration plate. A motor vehicle stop was conducted. Subsequent to the investigation, Tonia Pittmano, 41, of Hopatcong was arrested for two warrants out of Bradley Beach totaling $2,000 and one warrant out of Neptune for $750. Pittmano posted bail for the Neptune warrant and was released on her own recognizance on the Bradley Beach warrants. She was also issued motor vehicle summonses for improper display and driving with a suspended driver’s license.
On Oct. 29 at approximately 8:45 p.m.: Bedminster Police observed a white Nissan Altima traveling on Route 206 northbound with an obstructed front windshield due to tint, a crack, and multiple air fresheners and an unclear rear license plate. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Route 206 northbound at the Peapack Sunoco gas station. Subsequent to the investigation, Jahod Haynesworth, 33, of Flanders was arrested for possession of CDS marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant out of South Plainfield for $500. Haynesworth was also issued motor vehicle summonses for obstruction of windshield for vision, improper display / unclear plates, and operation of motor vehicle while in possession of CDS. He was unable to post bail and was released on his own recognizance.
On Oct. 31 at approximately 11: 08 a.m.: Bedminster Police responded to Hyde Court to serve a warrant. Brian Velloso, 61, of Hyde Court was arrested on a Bedminster Township warrant for $300. Velloso posted bail and was released.
